How to view multiple Google Calendars in one place

Google Calendar already does this. Once a calendar is shared with you, or you've created more than one under your own account, they overlay automatically, each with its own color, toggled on or off from the sidebar. No separate app required for the basic version of this problem.

How to set it up in Google Calendar itself

On the web or in the app, look for "Other calendars" in the sidebar. Anything shared with you appears there once you accept the invite. Your own additional calendars, if you've made more than one, sit above it under "My calendars." Check or uncheck any of them to show or hide that calendar's events, and every visible calendar's events appear together on the same grid.

Where it gets tedious

Two calendars, this works fine. Once you're layering in a partner's calendar, both kids' school calendars, a shared custody calendar, and an activity calendar, a few things start to strain: the color list gets hard to read at a glance, there's no running record of what changed since you last looked, and if anyone's on a different Google account for work versus family, switching between them to check each one is its own chore. Google Calendar was built to be one person's calendar with guests attached, not a household's shared view by design.
