What's built in, not bolted on
Custody rotation templates are part of the core purchase, not a module. Unlimited calendars, the change queue, all five calendar views, kitchen display mode, custody rotation templates, themes, and ICS subscription all come with The Solution at $24.99. Modules are for the things not everyone needs: the meal planner and the photo frame.
We charge for modules as well. The difference is that ours cost money once. A subscription costs money every year for as long as you use it, and if you stop paying, you stop having it.
What "Everything" means
Every module we build for this calendar is included, forever. The price goes up as we add them. It never goes up for you.
Someone who buys Everything today gets whatever ships in 2028 at no additional cost. Two boundaries on that promise: it covers this app, not the company, so a separate product from Canton & Co. is a separate purchase. And it doesn't cover consumables. AI credits, where a feature uses them, are a metered pass-through for real inference cost and are never bundled into any tier.
Why one-time purchase is possible
Your calendars sync straight from Google to your device. There's no account to create with us and no per-user server sitting between you and your data, so there's no recurring infrastructure bill to turn into a recurring charge. That's the actual mechanism, not a promotional line: a subscription funds a server we don't run.
