What this isn't.

The Solution has no messaging, no expense tracking, no tone meter, and no court-admissible export. We are never going to build any of them. Most co-parenting is boring logistics, not litigation, and being handed an evidence-collection product when you just need to know pickup moved is its own small insult.

What the other apps sell

Every serious co-parenting app on the market sells conflict documentation: timestamped message logs, tone analysis, expense ledgers, exports formatted for a judge. That's a real feature for a real situation. It's also a strange thing to hand someone whose actual problem is which house the kid sleeps at on Tuesday.

Who actually needs that

If your co-parenting situation is high-conflict, court-ordered, or headed that way, you want a product built for exactly that. OurFamilyWizard is the standard choice, and it's a good one. It's built to produce a record a court will accept, with the message logging and documentation that requires. That's not what this app does, and pretending otherwise would be a disservice to a genuinely different problem. More on how to tell which one you need.

Kidtime sits in between: its paid tier adds attorney access and tone analysis for less than the court-grade apps charge, if you want some documentation without the full apparatus. It's still a subscription, priced per parent.

What we built instead

A calendar. One that shows both households the same schedule, tells you when it changed, and includes custody rotation templates so the pattern doesn't have to be tracked by hand. Nothing you do in The Solution is designed to be read by a lawyer later, because that was never the job.

If your situation changes and you need documentation, that's a real need and it deserves a real tool. This isn't it, and we would rather say so than sell you a feature we don't believe in.
